Once the order has been placed you will receive a confirmation email to the email address you registered on with the details of your order. Gold filled metal is high quality with a thick layer of gold, making it long lasting and affordable. Both rose gold filled and gold filled consist of a base metal – gold is then bonded to the base metal using heat and pressure.
Gold Vermeil is 925 sterling silver that has a thick layer (2.5 microns) of gold plating. Gold vermeil is more durable than other gold plated jewellery and it can last for years. However, if worn continuously (especially rings) the gold plate can start to wear away after 6 months. We can re-plate gold vermeil jewellery for you for a small charge.
Either Gold Filled or Gold Vermeil jewellery is a good combination for those with an allergy to normal, plated jewellery items.
